Registering
To register as a new user, click on Register at the top of the window. You will be asked for your name, a username and password, and contact information, including your email address. You must be at least 18 years of age to register.! Can I leave feedback for a buyer/seller?
Can I leave feedback for a buyer/seller? You can leave feedback for a buyer or seller after an auction has closed. The feedback is a simple positive/negative/neutral system. A feedback score is calculated on a percentage basis - for instance, five out of five positive feedback ratings equals an overall rating of 100%. To see your own feedback, or leave feedback for others, login and click on the My Beealert tab, and then My Account, And either View Feedback or Leave Feedback, Remember members should do everything they can to resolve an issue before leaving negative feedback. What is Buy It Now?
What is Buy It Now? Some auctions may offer a Buy It Now option, which means you can purchase the item for a specified amount, without bidding. What is a Reserve Price?
What is a Reserve Price? Sellers will occasionally set a Reserve Price that is above the minimum starting bid, in an effort to make sure that they do not sell an item for less than a specific amount. If a reserve price is in effect, then the seller does not have to sell the item unless the high bid meets or exceeds the reserve. Auctions with a reserve price will be noted in their listing, describing whether the reserve has been met or not. The actual amount of the reserve price may or may not be revealed to bidders in the auction description. Sellers are not obligated to reveal their reserve price upon being asked. What is Item Watch?
What is Item Watch? Item Watch notifies you when someone bids on the auctions that you have added to your Item Watch list. How does the auction clock work?
How does the auction clock work? The current time is stated in the upper right-hand corner. The time remaining in the auction is located in the auction description. To see the most current state of the auction you must refresh your browser. If you are the high bidder on an item and you are watching the end of the auction, The end of auction time will become a countdown timer, you will only need to refresh your page to see if you have been outbid. Since this site currently based in the UK the time format is GMT. I havent received my email confirmation?
I havent received my email confirmation? Your email confirmation should arrive very quickly (within 10 minutes). If it has not arrived in this time you may want to check your junk/spam folders. If this has not yet come through please contact us from the email address you registered with including your username and we can investigate and activate your account.
