I can't find a category for my item? Due to the wide variety of items available we may not have categories that match each item. Therefore we ask you place it into the most suitable category. If we notice a demand for an individual category we will create one. However, if you have any suggestions for any categories please do feel free to contact us at admin@beealert.co.uk How do I list an item?
How do I list an item? Once registered you can begin to sell your items. To get started, click on the Sell an Item link in the main menu at the top of the page. 1. Youll need to select your category. If you dont see a category that matches your item exactly, choose one that is closest to your item or one that has a lot of other items listed in it. 2. Type in your item title and a description. The description box includes a full featured text editor so that you can customize fonts, colors, etc. 3. Upload photos to the photo gallery, items with images are more likely to sell. You can upload up to five photos to the gallery, however file sizes can not exceed 300k. 4. Set the options for your listing. Options include Item Qty., Starting Bid, Shipping Fee, Reserve and Buy it Now, Starting Date, Auction Duration, Shipping Terms, and Payment Method. 5. When you have completed your listing, click on Submit Auction at the bottom of the page. Can I use HTML on my listing?
Can I use HTML on my listing? Yes you can use HTML when listing your item although, we recommend you do not use complex HTML as it may not display correctly on all operating systems and browsers, putting bidders off from buying. How can I keep my buyer happy?
How can I keep my buyer happy? There are several ways to keep your buyer happy. First describe the item as accurately as possible. Charge fair postage costs and dispatch the item as quickly as possible. Keep in touch with your buyer throughout the process, updating them on any delays or developments. If it is not possible for you to post before the strike contact your buyer as quickly as possible to let them know of the delay. However you can choose to add on lots of little features to your item in order to make them more attractive to buyers. Each feature has a small cost but usually attract more views to the auction. If an item doesn't sell can I relist it? If your item doesnt sell, you can relist it as many times as you like. To relist an item, login and go to your My Beealert, then click on the Selling tab. Alternately, you can host your photos with a free service like Flickr or Photobucket, and then paste the link to them in your listing.
